Meet the Student Team

Career Peer Mentors

Career Peer Mentors provide direct support for all six new Career Exploration Communities (CECs) by providing front-line career support to students, allowing each CEC career coach to have more time for personalized, high-level career exploration and discernment with students. Career Peer Mentors meet with students individually and in groups, providing services including resume reviews, internship search assistance, and graduate school information for each of the CECs. They also create and give presentations on CEC topics to student groups.

CEC Ambassadors

The CEC Ambassador program directly supports all six Career Exploration Communities by providing targeted marketing and communication to students. CEC Ambassadors are responsible for creating peer-to-peer marketing, assisting with student outreach for all six CECs, creating content for social media, and promoting the importance of early and continuous career planning and preparation.

Sarah Koch

Lead Career Peer Mentor

Sarah Koch is a senior majoring in Anthropology/Sociology and Spanish, with a minor in social justice.  She is also a Spanish tutor, a student researcher in the anthropology department, and a member of CPA, SPEAC, and Centre Feminists.  Sarah is passionate about helping students achieve their goals, and she is so excited to be Lead Career Peer Mentor this year! She loves working with students and helping them plan for the future.
