RWC is building a cohort of interns for the Summer of 2026. This will be a challenging opportunity to build skills in your field and create connections with RWC and peers from other Universities.

Position Summary:

The IT AI Associate Intern will assist with AI‑focused initiatives that drive digital transformation and operational efficiency across the business. This role offers hands‑on experience in data analysis, AI solution development, and cross‑functional collaboration with business leaders and subject‑matter experts.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business department leaders and SMEs to identify potential AI project opportunities.
  • Gather and document business requirements for potential AI-related development and implementation.
  • Coordinate and assist in simple AI pilot or solution development under the guidance from IT leadership.
  • Participate in status, requirements, solution demonstration, and review meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a focus on AI.
  • Coursework in Data Science, Statistical Analysis, or Predictive Modeling is strongly preferred.

Education:

  • Computer Science with focus on AI (courses in Data Science, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling)

Experience:

  • Familiarity with data structures, data modeling, and data analytics.
  • Experience programming in Python or another relevant programming language

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • This position will be located in ­­­­­ 2300 Defoor Hills Rd Nw, Atlanta, GA 30318-2206
  • Interns are paid an hourly rate of $22
  • Internship will have travel involved including a kick-off in Atlanta and Operations immersion week in Cullman, AL
