Each summer, our company welcomes students for a first-hand look into our business. Our interns study a variety of majors, and work in departments across the organization, taking on projects that have long-term impact on our business. This opening is for a Lab Technical & Application Support Intern in Columbus, OH. The duties and responsibilities for this particular position may include but are not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining our in-house lab samples – performing, documenting, and reporting on experiments in support of end-users, sales, and marketing teams
- Analyzing and updating quality data and customer sample data
- Documenting location and serial numbers of inventory items
- Reviewing and auditing existing lab documentation, and assisting in the creation of new lab documentation
- Assisting with regular thorough cleaning and maintenance of our lab space
Education/Experience Required
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 – May 2029. Applicable fields of study include Chemistry or Biochemistry. An analytical chemistry course and analytical chemistry lab experience would be highly beneficial. Organic lab and physical chemistry lab experience would be a plus.
- Excellent follow-through, ability to meet deadlines, decision-making and multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and other general computer skills
