Grindstone Campaigns has a proven track record of implementing ambitious field programs, from local initiatives to federal campaigns. Grindstone provides clients with data-driven outreach strategies for political campaigns, issue advocacy, and membership recruitment. We are seeking new team members in the Salinas area who are politically engaged and interested in supporting a local campaign in the 2026 primary through door-to-door outreach.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct outreach activities (Door-to-Door) to listen to residents’ concerns, goals and desires
– Educate the community about the organization’s mission, goals, and desired outcomes
– Develop and implement strategies to engage potential supporters and volunteers
– Engage residents at the door and at community events to gain feedback for the campaign
– Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and report generation
Skills:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organizational and time management abilities
– Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse individuals and groups
– Ability to engage in door-to-door outreach
– Previous door-to-door or sales experience is a plus but not required
Pay:
– Pay starts at $25 an hour
